The South Fork American River offers many options with 1/2 day, 1 day and 2 days on a Class 3 river. This is great choice for a fun rafting trip, located in the Gold Country, this location is close to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe and the San Francisco/Bay Area. Also a good trip for those who have participants with mixed skill levels including non-swimmers.
1/2 day trips on the Truckee River class 2-3 run are within 35 minutes of Reno and Lake Tahoe's North Shore, and about 1 hr. from the South Lake Tahoe area, which is a favorite spot for those looking for a party, nightlife and gambling! Also great for those on a tight schedule and budget, but book well in advance as these trips do fill up weeks in advance.
The Middle Fork American River all day class 2-4 17 mile run is a popular choice for those groups who want a custom experience, a private place to camp, and typically no kids. This trip is located 1 hour from Sacramento, in a secluded wilderness canyon, and though offered as a 1 day trip, the 2-3 day trip provides a secluded camping experience as well as more time for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. As a Class 3-4 rafting trip, it does require that all participants have adequate swimming abilities.
The North Yuba River has a variety of options from 1-4 days of class 4-5 rapids - these runs are for very adventurous rafters! Offered in the spring only as this is a naturally flowing river (the others mentioned are dam released flows) with beautiful scenery, unique wildlife, and a private campground for over-nighters. Location is within 2 hours of Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and Reno.

Pricing & Discounts for bachelor parties:
We offer discounts of 5-25% for any group, depending on the size of the group. Weekday trips also offer lower rates and during the off season months of April through early June and after Labor Day weekend, weekday rates are available on the weekend. We highly suggest having the individuals pay themselves for Bachelor/ette parties, otherwise one person will have to collect the money from everyone rafting and pay themselves - this person is now financially responsible for everyone. Please note that usually no refunds are given within 24 hours of trip meeting time, so if you have not collected and they don't show up, you are out of pocket. We understand that this can be a big head ache with groups of this type, especially if the participants are widely scattered, so we have a special system for groups with individuals paying separately to make the process easier for the organizer. This does limit the discount available, but definitely saves stress and lets us take care of more of the work for you. Ask us about our "group folders".
